How we came to VANLIFE
Timmy has always been camping with his parents since he was a little child.
They had an old VW LT, which was a campervan. Camping and being outside all day is something that fits perfectly together!
After 16 years of camping with his parents every summer, Timmy bought his own Van and somehow, he always wanted an VW T3. So he bought one and started planning the interior, electric and all the stuff that comes with it. It was a lot of work, more than he thought but It was worth it! Being able to drive wherever you want and sleep in your own car, like it is your house is just amazing!
It's all about being flexible

Okay, maybe we should plan some things, but the best things happen spontaneously! It’s about having all options open and don’t focus too much on a certain activity. Sometimes this way of thinking is a problem, because it can take a long time to choose something to do and that’s very exhausting.
The Gang
We travel a lot together, weekends are mostly reserved for short trips with our friends. We do a lot of hiking together and enjoy the great time. As you see, we all have vw t3s 😉
We met each other because of the car, so it’s a pretty cool group!
